[Onlif Clinic] Terms of Service

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to comply with and prescribe matters relating to the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Onlif Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Hospital") and other necessary matters as prescribed by the Telecommunications Business Act and the enforcement decree of the same Act.

▶ Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to comply with and prescribe the rights, obligations, responsibilities of the "Hospital" and its members, and other necessary matters in connection with the use of the Onlif Clinic website (hereinafter referred to as the "Homepage") provided by Onlif Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Hospital") as prescribed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Personal Information Protection Act, and the enforcement decree of the same Act.

▶ Article 2 (Definitions)
① "Service" means all services related to the website that can be used by members regardless of the device they use (including various wired/wireless devices such as PC, TV, and mobile devices). ② "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the use of personal information on the "Hospital" website and who uses the services provided by the "Hospital." ③ "ID" means a combination of letters and numbers selected by a "Member" and approved by the "Hospital" for the identification of the "Member" and the use of the "Service." ④ "Password" means a combination of letters or numbers selected by the "Member" himself/herself to confirm that the "Member" matches the assigned "ID" and to protect confidentiality. ⑤ "Post" or "Posting" means any text, photos, videos, and various files and links in the form of information such as symbols, characters, voices, sounds, images, or videos posted by a "Member" on the service while using the "Service."

▶ Article 3 (Post and Amendment of the Terms)
① These Terms shall become effective upon posting them on the website, and the "Hospital" may amend these Terms of Use to the extent that it does not violate the relevant laws and regulations. ② When the "Hospital" amends these Terms and Conditions, it shall announce the date of application and reasons for amendment along with the current Terms in accordance with the method outlined in Paragraph 1 from 7 days before the effective date to the day before the effective date. ③ If a member does not agree to the application of the amended terms, the "Hospital" cannot apply the contents of the amended terms, and in this case, the member may terminate the contract. However, in the event of special circumstances where the previous terms cannot be applied, the "Hospital" may terminate the contract.

▶ Article 4 (Interpretation of Terms)
Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions or the interpretation thereof shall be governed by relevant laws or commercial practices.

▶ Article 5 (Execution of Agreement)
① The service contract is concluded when a person who wishes to become a "Member" (hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant") agrees to the contents of the terms and conditions, applies for membership registration, and the "Hospital" accepts this request. ② In principle, the "Hospital" accepts the "Service" use in response to the application from the "Applicant." However, the "Hospital" may refuse acceptance or terminate the service contract ex post facto for applications that fall under any of the following items: 1. If the applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms and Conditions, except when they get approval from the "Hospital" for re-registration. 2. If a name other than their real name or another person's name is used. 3. If false information is filled in or the information requested by the "Hospital" is omitted. 4. If a child under the age of 14 has not obtained the consent of their legal representative (parents, etc.). 5. If approval is impossible due to reasons attributable to the user or if the application is submitted in violation of other prescribed matters.

▶ Article 6 (Obligation to Protect Personal Information)
The "Hospital" strives to protect "Members'" personal information in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, such as the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc." and the "Personal Information Protection Act." The protection and use of personal information shall be governed by the relevant laws and the "Hospital's" Privacy Policy. However, the "Hospital's" Privacy Policy does not apply to linked websites other than the official website of the "Hospital."

▶ Article 7 (Notification to "Members")
① When the "Hospital" notifies “Members,” it may do so via e-mail address within the service unless otherwise specified in these Terms. ② In the case of notification to all "Members," the "Hospital" may substitute the notification in Paragraph 1 by posting it on the "Hospital's" bulletin board for 7 days or longer.

▶ Article 8 (Obligations of "Members")
① "Members" shall not perform the following acts: 1. Registration of false information during application or change. 2. Theft of other people's information. 3. Alteration of information posted by the "Hospital." 4. Sending or posting information (computer programs, etc.) other than the information specified by the "Hospital." 5. Infringement of intellectual property rights, such as copyrights of the "Hospital" and other third parties. 6. Acts that damage the reputation or disrupt the business of the "Hospital" and other third parties. 7. Disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to conventional public order and morals on the "Service." 8. Using the "Service" for profit without the prior consent of the "Hospital." 9. Other illegal or unjust acts. ② "Members" shall comply with the relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the user guide, precautions announced in relation to the "Service," and matters notified by the "Hospital," and shall not engage in any other acts that interfere with the business of the "Hospital."

▶ Article 9 (Obligations of the "Hospital")
① The "Hospital" does not perform any acts prohibited by the relevant laws and these Terms or acts against public order and morals, and will make its best efforts to provide the "Service" continuously and stably. ② The "Hospital" must have a security system to protect personal information (including credit information) so that "Members" can securely use the "Service," and must disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy. ③ If opinions or complaints raised by "Members" with respect to the use of the services are recognized as justifiable, the "Hospital" must resolve them. For opinions or concerns raised by "Members," the handling process and results will be communicated to the "Member" through e-mail or registered contact information.

▶ Article 10 (Provision and Amendment of Service)
① The "Hospital" provides the following services: 1. Reservation service provided through the homepage. 2. Online consultation service provided through the homepage. 3. Medical information service provided through the homepage. 4. Other services determined by the "Hospital." ② In principle, the "Service" shall be provided 24 hours a day, 30 days a year. ③ The "Hospital" may temporarily suspend the provision of the "Service" in the event of repair inspection, replacement, breakdown, communication failure of informational/telecommunication facilities such as computers, or significant operational reasons. In this case, the "Hospital" shall notify the "Member" in the manner set forth in Article 7 [Notification to "Members"]. However, if there are unavoidable reasons that make it impossible for the "Hospital" to notify in advance, notification can be given afterward. ④ The "Hospital" may conduct regular inspections if necessary for the provision of services, and the regular inspection schedule shall follow what is posted on the service screen. ⑤ The "Hospital" may modify all or part of the "Services" provided based on operational and technical needs if there are reasonable grounds to do so. ⑥ The "Hospital" may modify, suspend, or change some or all of the free services due to policies and operational needs of the "Hospital," and no separate compensation shall be made to "Members" unless otherwise specified in relevant laws.

▶ Article 11 (Fees for Service)
① The service is free of charge for all registered "Members." ② If the "Hospital" charges fees for the services, the timing, policy, and costs of the monetization must be published on the service prior to implementation.
▶ Article 12 (Medical Appointment Service)
① Members may use the medical reservation service through website if they wish. ② All members have an obligation of good faith regarding pre-booked medical appointments. ③ The "Hospital" shall not be civilly or criminally liable for any possible losses occurring during the medical appointment service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the "Hospital."

▶ Article 13 (Online Consultation Service)
① Under no circumstances can the online consultation service replace actual medical acts such as practical medical examination, diagnosis, and surgery. ② The "Hospital" will make its best efforts to maintain security so that the consult contents of members of the service are not leaked to third parties other than the consultant and the service administrator. However, the hospital is not responsible for the disclosure or loss of consultation content under the following circumstances: 1. If the password was leaked due to the member’s negligence. 2. If the member used the 'Delete Consultation' function. 3. If caused by other force majeure events such as natural disasters. ③ The consultation content carried out on the homepage may be used for the following purposes in a form that cannot identify specific individuals: 1. Compiling statistics, academic activities. 2. When there are special provisions in the law. 3. Utilization as FAQs and basic data deemed necessary for the operation of the hospital. ④ The responses to consultations are subjective answers based on each medical specialist's medical knowledge and do not represent the opinion of the "Hospital's" services. ⑤ If applications for consulting belong to the following, the consultation service may not be provided in whole or in part: 1. If the same member repeatedly applies for consultation with the same content. 2. If applying for consultation using expressions contrary to common sense. 3. If applying for consultation asking for a diagnosis name. 4. If applying for consultation regarding treatment costs, exam fees, medicine prices, etc. 5. If asking confirmation questions about the content received from other medical institutions. 6. If defaming or slandering medical institutions or specialists without any specific reason.

▶ Article 14 (Medical Information Service)
① The information provided in the service is sketchy, general, and for informational purposes only. The information or consultation provided in the service can never substitute a medical diagnosis. The information or consultation provided in the service is by no means intended to replace medical diagnosis, consultation, or treatment. If you have any doubts or worries about your health condition, you must visit an actual specialist doctor for diagnosis. Under no circumstances should you disregard a medical diagnosis or delay seeking diagnosis, consultation, or treatment because of the information provided by the service. ② The "Hospital" does not recommend any specific test, product, or treatment method mentioned in the service. All personal opinions expressed in the service are the opinions of the respective author. ③ Relying on the information of this service, opinions of specialists participating in the service, or other members or visitors using the service is entirely at the user's discretion. Therefore, the "Hospital" shall not be liable for any damage, injury, or other disadvantages resulting from the use of any product, information, idea, or instruction provided to members.

▶ Article 15 (Ownership of Copyright)
① Copyrights and other intellectual property rights for works created by the "Hospital" shall belong to the "Hospital." ② "Members" shall not modify, copy, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes or make third parties leverage the information obtained by using the website without the prior consent of the "Hospital."

▶ Article 16 (Management of "Posts")
① If a "Member's" "Post" contains details violating relevant laws such as the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc." and the "Copyright Act," the right holder may request the suspension of posting and deletion of the "Post" according to the procedures set out in the relevant laws, and the "Hospital" must take action in accordance with the laws. ② Even if there is no request from the right holder under the preceding paragraph, if there is a reason to recognize infringement of rights or other violations of the "Hospital" policies and relevant laws, the "Hospital" may take temporary measures, etc., against the corresponding "Post" in accordance with the policy and relevant laws.

▶ Article 17 (Rescission, Termination, etc. of Agreement)
① "Members" can apply for termination of the service contract through the Information Management Menu on the main screen of the service at any time, and the "Hospital" must handle it immediately as prescribed by relevant laws. ② When a "Member" terminates the contract, all data of the "Member" will be destroyed immediately upon termination except when the "Hospital" retains member information in accordance with relevant laws and the Privacy Policy. ③ If a "Member" terminates the contract, "Posts" written by the "Member," posts re-posted by others, or "Posts" registered on public bulletin boards will not be deleted, so please delete them before withdrawing. ④ The "Hospital" may terminate the service agreement or suspend the service use for a specified duration without prior notice if "Members" engage in any of the following acts: 1. If it goes against public order and good morals. 2. If involved in criminal acts. 3. If planning or executing service use for the purpose of harming national interests or general social benefits. 4. If stealing others' ID and passwords. 5. If damaging others' reputation or causing disadvantages. 6. If the same user registers redundantly with different IDs. 7. If hindering wholesome use of services such as causing harm to services. 8. If violating other relevant acts and regulations or the terms of use set by the hospital.

▶ Article 18 (Limitation of Liability)
① The "Hospital" is exempt from liability for providing the "Service" if it is unable to provide the "Service" due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure. ② The "Hospital" is not responsible for any disruption in "Service" use caused by reasons attributable to the "Member." ③ The "Hospital" does not take responsibility for the credibility, accuracy, and details of the information, materials, and facts posted by "Members" in connection with the "Service." ④ The "Hospital" is exempt from liability for transactions, etc., conducted between "Members" or between "Members" and third parties through the medium of the "Service." ⑤ The "Hospital" is not liable in connection with the use of free services unless otherwise specified in relevant laws.

▶ Article 19 (Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction)
① Except as provided in these Terms and Conditions, disputes arising out of service use shall be resolved by mutual agreement to the maximum extent. ② If a lawsuit is filed over a dispute arising from the use of the services, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the "Hospital" shall be the competent court.

[Addenda]
① These Terms and Conditions shall apply starting from January 1, 2020. ② The previous terms implemented since January 1, 2020, are replaced by these Terms and Conditions.
